ناقش اجتماع برئاسة وزير المياه والبيئة المهندس توفيق الشرجبي، اليوم بعدن تقرير غرفة عمليات وحدة الطوارئ حول أعمال فرق الاستجابة لمكافحة وباء الكوليرا في الأسابيع الأولى من 2021م.
ووفقا للتقرير، بلغ عدد حالات الكوليرا في مناطق المحور (المحافظات الجنوبية + تعز)، ألف و 66 حالة منها 783 حالة إيجابية موزعة على أكثر من عشر مديريات في محافظات متفرقة.
وأكد الوزير على ضرورة الاستفادة من التقرير في إعداد برامج ومشاريع تساهم في الحد من انتشار الوباء وتساعد في تحسين مستوى السيطرة عليه وتحسين الخدمات في المناطق المستهدفة .. مشددا على ضرورة تعاون الجهات المانحة والشريكة في مكافحة الوباء واستعراض أنشطتها في اجتماعات غرفه العمليات النصف شهرية.
ونوه بجهود فرق الاستجابة في الميدان .. لافتا إلى أن غرفة العمليات هي نواة لمركز المعلومات الذي سيشمل كافة قطاعات وأنشطة الوزارة في مكافحة الأوبئة.
