التقى وزير المياه والبيئة المهندس توفيق الشرجبي اليوم مع رئيس سلطة المياه الفلسطينية المهندس مازن غنيم، وذلك على هامش اعمال مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للمياه المنعقد في نيويورك.
وخلال اللقاء جرى بحث سبل تعزيز التعاون بين البلدين الشقيقين، وآليات تفعيل مذكرة التفاهم الموقعة بين البلدين فى مجال الموارد المائية والرى.
واكد المهندس توفيق الشرجبي على ضرورة رفع مستوى التعاون والتنسيق بين البلدين الشقيقين للاستفادة الخبرات فى مجالات الرى وإدارة الموارد المائية ، وتقديم الدعم الفنى فى مجالات المياه الجوفية وتخطيط وإدارة وتنمية الموارد المائية بما يحقق أهداف التنمية في البلدين الشقيقين.
وخلال اللقاء جدد المهندس الشرجبي التاكيد على موقف بلادنا الثابت والمبدئي في دعم القضية الفلسطينية ، مؤكدا على مركزية قضية فلسطين على الرغم من الظروف الاستثنائية التي تمر بها اليمن.
